I’m initially contracted for 4 weeks, will a possible extension until January 25th. The name on everybody’s lips is gonna be, Roxie!

Jam The Musical

JAM The Musical helps make 15 young peoples musical dreams come true with a week of televised master classes with Ireland’s top musical theatre performers - Peter Corry, Aoife Mulholland and Rebecca Storm- in the JAM school. The lucky 15 performers will be divided into three groups. At the end of the week, the three musical groups go head to head in the ultimate battle of the musicals.

Aoife goes to Salzburg with BBC1

Last week I was asked to present a piece for BBC Breakfast which involved taking a trip to Salzburg to stay in the original Von Trapp family home, which has been turned into a hotel. What a thrill!!  It’s a huge 14 bed manor full of pictures of the original Von Trapp family. The house includes a chapel and you can even get married there if you wish - something that the hard core Sound of Music fans will love! I learned that there were a few differences between the Hollywood film and the true story. For example, maria was a tutor not a novice nun and they didn’t escape over the mountains to Switzerland, they simply got a train!

The piece for BBC Breakfast will be shown the week of 6th of October.
Keep checking the website for the exact date.
